Here is a before photo looking towards where Tubs are sitting in the photo above. You can see the flat roof and soffit that was ripped out to reveal the roof lines of the shed along with several other changes!

Interior Makeovers To Suit Your Style

Interior Makeovers To Suit Your Style – I was recently in line behind a mother at Hobby Lobby with a small child, returning a lamp she had just purchased. As her little boy was writhing and crying, he was clearly not happy with the decoration of his home, he sighed to the cashier, this is 4.

The returns I made in a week, this project is no longer fun!” Her statement got me thinking about what I as an Interior Designer could do to help her make her room renovation a fun and easy experience. I’m a mom myself, to 3 kids all under 9, so I get something like taking them to the grocery store. I try to avoid all costs, these days mostly by shopping online. Japanese Inspired Tea Room Remodel

Japanese Inspired Tea Room Remodel – Located near the city of Český Těšín, Czech Republic, and designed to serve as a small resting place for visitors to Hrabinka Lake is a beautiful looking building called the Tea House Pavilion. The pavilion was built using spruce, plywood, and white cloth, and is a modern interpretation of traditional Japanese architecture. This is seen in the use of materials, and the simple but complex nature of the structure. It features a low table in the middle, which can be used for tea parties, or other necessary time alone. The spruce wood … Read the rest

I worked on a really fun and spontaneous mural project this week in our playroom and I’m so happy with the results! My body aches from every painting but it was totally worth every brushstroke.

The inspiration for this project came from this amazing bathroom painting by Vintage Revivals, designed by the amazingly talented artist based in Minnesota, Colleen Elizabeth.

The Power Of Paint In Interior Renovation

Now, I don’t consider myself an artist in the traditional sense, but seeing the process being broken down gave me hope to get into it. I also realized that if everything goes wrong, I can just paint over it.
