Coastal Cottage Living Room Remodel – Today I’m taking you on a tour of a home I decorated this past year. I’m so happy with how it turned out and I hope you like it too! The house was already beautiful, but it needed some style and personality. That’s where I come in!

My client wanted to brighten up the space so it felt warm and inviting, and that’s exactly what we did. We got rid of all the heavy brown and busy patterns and replaced them with ivory tones, soft aqua blues and elegant prints. Some rustic pieces remained, but we updated all the furniture, lighting and decor, all together to create a coastal cottage feel.

I’m so excited to share my mom’s mid-century modern inspired dining room makeover with you today! Since designing this place, the world has turned upside down and thus it took a long time to complete this change and the design changed little. We also ended up painting and hanging wallpaper on the hottest day of the year – definitely not the plan, huh. But it was totally worth it because we both loved how it turned out!
