Electrical Appliance Safety – Parents and other elderly loved ones increasingly rely on their children and other caregivers to support them as they grow older. Financial and medical issues are difficult issues. However, fire protection and other hazards often associated with electrical appliances around the home are often neglected.
Adults over the age of 65 are at the highest risk of dying in a fire and this risk increases with age according to the National Fire Protection Association.
