Interior Makeovers To Suit Your Style – I was recently in line behind a mother at Hobby Lobby with a small child, returning a lamp she had just purchased. As her little boy was writhing and crying, he was clearly not happy with the decoration of his home, he sighed to the cashier, this is 4.
The returns I made in a week, this project is no longer fun!” Her statement got me thinking about what I as an Interior Designer could do to help her make her room renovation a fun and easy experience. I’m a mom myself, to 3 kids all under 9, so I get something like taking them to the grocery store. I try to avoid all costs, these days mostly by shopping online. While I used to take those regular mom trips to Target, aimlessly perusing each section with pure joy, buying things I never knew I needed, those improvements are few and far between these days. I found that as my family grew, the convenience of online shopping and 2-day Amazon Prime delivery came more and more into my life. It was so much easier to buy the things I needed just to sit down at the end of the day than to pack a trip to the store between the kids’ ballet classes and baseball games.

A mood board is usually a collage of images. You can do both online or on paper. The perfect mood board consists of a variety of common themes and themes. It’s the perfect way to set the foundation for your decorating scheme before adding window treatments like blinds, including small blinds, wooden blinds, vertical blinds, or window shades and planters.
On the mood board you write what general feeling the house should have. Consider, for example, industrial, Scandinavian or rural interiors. Do you want to add cool urban colors or warm wood tones? Or mix styles together. Sleek and modern, cozy or natural can be the starting point. Find images that match your chosen style, looking for shapes, colors and materials.
